Researches fundamental technology and leads mechanical design and integration of systems for Boston Dynamics projects, from prototyping and concept through production.
What you'll do
- Brainstorm and rapidly prototype technology across disciplines, collaborating with electrical, software, and subject matter experts.
- Lead mechanical design of key subsystems through production, balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability, and mechanical requirements.
- Use simulation and analysis to guide design decisions and validate designs; support development, testing, debugging, and production failure analysis.
