About the job

Leads end-to-end power definition, analysis, optimization, and validation for complex semiconductor SoCs, coordinating across design and systems teams.

What you'll do

  • Own the power lifecycle from architectural definition and budgeting through final silicon validation; analyze dynamic and leakage power at RTL, gate-level, and post-layout stages.
  • Develop power analysis flows, automation scripts, and methodologies, and drive power-reduction strategies across design stages.
  • Partner with physical design and systems teams on PDN sign-off, IR/EM analysis, thermal and packaging constraints, and power profiles.

What they ask for

  • Proven semiconductor power definition, estimation, and optimization for complex SoCs or high-performance IPs.
  • Hands-on experience with power analysis and sign-off tools, such as Synopsys Pt-PX / PrimePower, Ansys RedHawk, Cadence Joules, or PowerArtist.
  • Knowledge of UPF/CPF, CMOS device physics, and power-reduction techniques; proficiency using AI coding assistants with Python, Tcl, or Perl.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years or Master’s degree plus 6 years in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with relevant industry experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience taping out designs at 7nm, 5nm, 3nm, or below.
  • Familiarity with thermal modeling, PDN design, IR/EM mitigation, or correlating pre-silicon estimates with post-silicon measurements.

Pay

USD 121,900.00 To USD 195,000.00 (base salary)
