Supports Registered Dietitians by gathering nutrition information, coordinating appropriate meals, monitoring patient intake and satisfaction, and providing basic nutrition education to pediatric patients and their families.
What you'll do
- Update specialty-diet and allergen lists, review meals for accuracy, and communicate diet changes to kitchen and unit staff.
- Monitor meal intake and patient satisfaction; complete calorie counts and document findings in the electronic health record.
- Provide individual and group nutrition education, meal coaching, and support for menu revisions and nutrition interventions.
