Supports providers and daily clinical operations in a physician practice by preparing patients, performing clinical tasks, and coordinating patient care.
What you'll do
- Prepares patients for visits, takes and records vital signs, documents patient information in the EMR, and performs in-office tests and EKGs.
- Assists providers with procedures, specimens, chaperoning, and ordered vaccines or medications.
- Coordinates appointments, patient outreach, clinical records, supplies, prior authorizations, and other practice workflows.
