Supports providers and daily clinical operations in a physician practice by preparing patients, documenting visit information, performing clinical tasks, and coordinating patient care.
What you'll do
- Rooms and prepares patients; records vital signs, histories, and other visit information in the EMR.
- Performs in-office testing, EKGs, specimen labeling, and provider-ordered medication or vaccine administration; assists with procedures.
- Coordinates appointments, referrals, prior authorizations, patient outreach, and clinical supplies.
