About the job
Provides and coordinates nursing care for endoscopy patients from admission through discharge, including assessment, treatment, education, safety, and discharge planning.
What you'll do
- Deliver and evaluate direct patient care using the nursing process; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
- Delegate and supervise assigned care activities, implement therapeutic and diagnostic orders, and communicate patient changes to physicians and families.
- Maintain patient safety, documentation, infection-control practices, emergency readiness, and patient and family advocacy.
