About the job
Provides and coordinates neuro med-surg nursing care for patients from admission through discharge, including assessment, education, and discharge planning.
What you'll do
- Deliver and evaluate direct patient care, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate care and discharge planning with patients, families, healthcare teams, and community services; provide patient and family teaching.
- Delegate and supervise ancillary staff, support quality improvement activities, and serve as a preceptor or delegated charge nurse.
