About the job
Prepares and maintains operating rooms, sterile fields, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures, supports the surgical team, and processes equipment between cases.
What you'll do
- Anticipate surgeon and equipment needs; set up the operating room and maintain the sterile field.
- Perform surgical counts, pass instruments and supplies, handle specimens, and assist with room turnover.
- Process, clean, disinfect, reassemble, and maintain operating room instruments and endoscopy equipment.
