About the job
Build and operate Browserbase’s core infrastructure platform, scaling reliable distributed backends and supporting engineering teams and production operations.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and operate scalable distributed systems and developer-friendly APIs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, help set project priorities, and establish development and reliability practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and enhance the platform as customer demand grows.
What they ask for
- Deep experience building and scaling distributed systems at the scale of hundreds or thousands of instances.
- Strong coding expertise in Go or Typescript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and Docker, message queues, relational databases, automated testing, performance optimization, and zero-downtime multi-region deployments.
- Able to work five days a week at the San Francisco HQ or relocate there.
Nice to have
- Experience with Firecracker or similar VMMs.
