Data Scientist, Marketplace Incentives

What you'll do

• Design marketplace mechanics—including task mix, targeting, bonuses, payouts, and eligibility—to increase high-value data collection.
• Run experiments on incentives and measure their impact on the dataset objective.
• Work with software to ship incentive and payout changes, and report results in actionable terms for operations.

What they ask for

• Ability to optimize against an objective function.
• Comfort designing and interpreting experiments, including assignment, holdouts, power, and leakage.
• Comfort working with messy field or collection data.
• Enjoyment of iterative, measured changes.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketplaces, incentives, pricing, or growth experimentation.
• Experience with real-money payout or pay systems, or shipping experiment results into a product.

Pay

$180K – $280K USD base salary
