About the job

Pursue research and engineering bets using physical-labor and in-the-wild video data, training and evaluating models and building the data and training paths needed to ship effective results.

What you'll do

  • Train, evaluate, ablate, and ship models; investigate what models learn as data scales and what remains missing.
  • Build training and data pipelines, including distributed training and dataset curation, and design evaluations that test generalization.
  • Coordinate with dataset and evaluation leads so research results inform data collection and evaluation; contribute across research and engineering.

What they ask for

  • Experience training real models and a research bet the candidate can defend.
  • Proficiency in Python and a deep learning framework such as PyTorch or equivalent.
  • Interest in in-the-wild physical data, not only academic splits.
  • Ability to move between research and engineering and work independently on an ambiguous, high-impact direction.

Nice to have

  • Experience with video, world models, robotics, or multimodal training; large-scale pretraining, dataset curation, or distributed GPU training.
  • Familiarity with egocentric / first-person or in-the-wild video; published work or shipped models that influenced a lab.

Tools

Python, PyTorch

AI focus

Research, train, and evaluate models on physical-labor, video, and world-model data, including studying learning at scale and generalization.
