About the job
Build internal software that helps field teams scale physical-data collection at factories and job sites, from site setup and tasking to device health and local tooling.
What you'll do
- Build and improve collection-operations tools, including tasking, site standup, device inventory, shift tracking, and offline-tolerant local tooling.
- Observe operations, remove software bottlenecks, and measure useful collection hours per person.
- Create repeatable site-health and rollout workflows, coordinating with operations, data infrastructure, and marketplace incentives.
What they ask for
- Strong generalist software engineering skills and interest in shipping products for operators.
- Comfort working with messy real-world operations and building 0→1 tools.
- Willingness to travel or work closely with field teams.
- Measure success by whether scaling teams can scale more effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience embedded with field, operations, logistics, or deployment teams; or standing up tools in new sites or countries.
- Marketplace, incentive, or operations-product background; Linux/Python and hardware-adjacent debugging experience.
