About the job

Contribute to efficient machine-vision perception pipelines and camera/sensor testing for low-power wearable devices.

What you'll do

  • Prepare data, train and optimize models, and deploy perception pipelines on edge devices.
  • Build and run test platforms and benchmarks for camera/perception latency, power, and accuracy.
  • Support camera and sensor experiments, including data capture, calibration, and evaluation.

What they ask for

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program (or an exceptional undergraduate) in EE, ECE, CS, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Programming experience in Python and/or C/C++; experience with PyTorch or an equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in computer vision/ML, embedded/edge systems, or camera/image-sensor/imaging pipelines, including exposure to cameras, images, or visual perception.
  • Able to execute a scoped project with guidance in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team; good communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience with efficient or edge model deployment, such as quantization, pruning, ONNX/TensorRT, or NPU/DSP.
  • Image/video CV, 3D vision, event/depth sensing, embedded hardware, or use of VLM/LLM tools in the workflow.

Tools
