About the job

Research and prototype multimodal AI, computer vision, and computational imaging algorithms for AR/XR products, validating them through experimentation and hardware testing.

What you'll do

  • Develop multimodal AI, computer vision, and computational imaging algorithms, including model post-training and reinforcement learning.
  • Build context-aware models and use generative models, computer graphics, and simulation to create synthetic environments and address imaging challenges.
  • Prototype and evaluate approaches through experimentation, automated evaluation, and real-world hardware testing.

What they ask for

  • Completing or recently completed a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Imaging Science, Optical Engineering, Color Science, or a related field.
  • Strong background in at least one of multimodal learning, computer vision, computational imaging, generative modeling, or computer graphics.
  • Hands-on experience developing and training deep learning models using PyTorch or similar frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with C/C++; ability to independently explore research directions, design experiments, and build prototypes.

Nice to have

  • Experience with multimodal foundation model post-training, reinforcement learning, reward modeling, visual reasoning, agentic tool use, or context-conditioned multimodal models.
  • Experience in generative modeling, computer graphics, neural rendering, simulation-based synthetic data, real-world imaging applications, or camera systems; relevant conference publications are a plus.

Tools

PyTorch, Python, C/C++

AI focus

Research and develop multimodal foundation models, post-training and reinforcement learning, context-aware modeling, generative AI, computer graphics, and synthetic-data simulation for vision and imaging.
