About the job

Develop and integrate algorithms for end-to-end video quality optimization, evaluating their impact in streaming systems and production workflows.

What you'll do

  • Design video quality optimization solutions using video analysis, processing, and encoding algorithms.
  • Apply algorithms to VOD and live-streaming monitoring, data analysis, and objective evaluation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into production workflows and validate impact through A/B testing.

What they ask for

  • Completing or recently completed a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of video enhancement/compression algorithms or subjective/objective video quality, algorithms, and state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Proficient in at least one of C, C++, or Python.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with ML and image-processing tools, deep-learning frameworks, multimodal large models (MLLMs), AI agent technologies, Linux, shell scripting, or HDFS.
  • Hands-on implementation or research experience with MLLMs and AI agent technologies.

Tools

C, C++, Python, sklearn, OpenCV, FFmpeg, TensorFlow, PyTorch

AI focus
