Principal Associate - Market Research & Intelligence

What you'll do

• Manage research vendors and oversee projects through the full research life cycle, including study design and data quality assurance.
• Select and execute research methods, develop questionnaires and sample plans, and work with analysts to interpret findings.
• Create clear reports and integrate primary and secondary research into insights; maintain the internal research database and support research products.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience.
• At least 3 years managing relationships with online sample providers and survey platforms to ensure representative consumer data collection.
• At least 3 years in a marketing research or consumer insights role, and at least 3 years executing projects using survey tools and syndicated market research sources.
• At least 2 years with Microsoft Excel and at least 2 years with market research and survey methodologies such as persona segmentation, message testing, and brand health tracking.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Behavioral Sciences, or Psychology.
• Experience researching financial services, public policy, public affairs, or community impact; or designing and running large-scale measurement and tracking surveys.

Pay

USD $120,800 - $137,900 base salary (McLean, VA); USD $109,900 - $125,400 base salary (Richmond, VA)
