About the job
Build and operationalize scalable AI/ML and NLP solutions, including adapted and fine-tuned language models, for customer-facing Capital One mobile app experiences.
What you'll do
- Partner with data science, engineering, and product teams to deliver AI-powered customer products.
- Design, train, evaluate, and validate machine learning and NLP models, then operationalize them in scalable production systems.
- Apply NLP and large language models to customer-facing applications and features.

- Currently hold, or be obtaining by the scheduled start date, a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 5 years of data analytics experience; a master's in a quantitative field or quantitative-concentration MBA plus 3 years; or a PhD in a quantitative field.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.

Pay
$158,600 - $181,000 USD base salary; $173,000 - $197,400 USD base salary; $173,000 - $197,400 USD base salary
