Build and lead the development of scalable, responsible AI systems and infrastructure that power products and workflows across Capital One.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, deploy, and support AI components, including foundation-model training and inference, agents, search, guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
- Set technical direction for enterprise AI architecture and optimize production systems for scalability, cost, latency, and throughput.
- Lead technical roadmaps, mentor engineers, and promote responsible AI practices and standards across teams.

Pay
Remote: $244,700 - $279,200 USD base salary; Cambridge, MA: $269,100 - $307,200 USD base salary; McLean, VA: $269,100 - $307,200 USD base salary; New York, NY: $293,600 - $335,100 USD base salary; San Francisco, CA: $293,600 - $335,100 USD base salary; San Jose, CA: $293,600 - $335,100 USD base salary
