About the job
Leads Cartesia’s Data team, building web-scale multimodal data infrastructure and datasets and using data-focused modeling to improve training data and models.
What you'll do
- Lead and grow a team of data infrastructure engineers and researchers.
- Set technical direction for processing, storing, and serving multimodal data at web scale.
- Build and evaluate multimodal pre-training datasets, annotation models, and data-quality methods in partnership with modeling and research teams.
What they ask for
- Proven management experience, including directly leading a data team of at least 6 people.
- Hands-on familiarity with data infrastructure at scale, including processing, storage, and systems for large-scale data.
- Track record of building and leading data efforts, ideally for a modeling project.

- Previous modeling experience.

$250K – $375K USD base salary
