Manager, Social Media & Strategic Communications

What you'll do

• Own social media strategy, editorial calendars, publishing, community engagement, and performance analysis across company channels.
• Create social-first campaigns and executive content; support announcements, media opportunities, rapid response, and issue management.
• Coordinate with company stakeholders to ensure communications are technically accurate and meet OPSEC, export-control, and sensitivity requirements.

What they ask for

• 4–7 years of experience in social media, strategic communications, public affairs, journalism, defense communications, technology communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing brand, founder, executive, or organizational social channels, especially LinkedIn and X.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, social media strategy fluency, and ability to translate complex subject matter into clear messaging.
• Sound judgment and discretion, strong organizational skills, and ability to work with senior executives and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, government, journalism, public affairs, venture-backed technology, or dual-use technology.
• Experience with executive social programs, analytics or social listening tools, product launches, crisis communications, or defense communications review processes.
