Supports hands-on solid rocket motor manufacturing, assembly, test setup, and development testing while following safety and quality procedures.
What you'll do
- Perform propellant manufacturing and motor assembly tasks, including material handling, mixing support, casting, curing, and component integration.
- Prepare and support development tests; operate and maintain equipment, collect data, and assist with post-test inspection and recovery.
- Maintain safe, organized manufacturing and test areas and support equipment qualification, procedure validation, and inventory tracking.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, or operations in aerospace, defense, propulsion, chemical processing, or another high-hazard industrial environment.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and test procedures; hands-on aptitude with tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift and handle hardware typically up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial/test environments.
Nice to have
- Associate's degree, technical certificate, or equivalent military/technical training in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or a related field.
- Experience with energetic materials, SRM/propellant/munitions/missile manufacturing or testing, aerospace/defense environments, static fire or environmental testing, or lean/5S practices.
