Architects and executes hardware testing and automated test capabilities to move avionics and control systems from prototype to production.
What you'll do
- Develop test plans and build fixtures, hardware-in-the-loop environments, and automated test equipment.
- Validate hardware performance, lead failure analysis, and support design improvements using test results.
- Drive qualification and environmental test campaigns and deploy automated test equipment for boards and subsystems.
What they ask for
- B.S./M.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or a related field.
- Experience testing high-power subsystems, high-speed digital interfaces, actuators, or RF hardware.
- Hands-on experience developing automated test equipment using laboratory instruments.
- Familiarity with embedded control systems and interfaces, plus instrumentation control and data acquisition using Python, C++, protobufs, or scripting.
Nice to have
- RF testing fundamentals or advanced Radar architecture knowledge; test automation software experience.
- Experience with SCPI, VISA, or PyVISA; GUIs or dashboards; environmental chambers; flight-like testing; or flight test and launch operations.
