What you'll do

  • Design and implement inertial, alternative-navigation, and multi-sensor fusion algorithms for high-speed flight vehicles.
  • Integrate navigation algorithms with onboard sensors and real-time embedded systems; support HIL and flight testing.
  • Model and evaluate navigation performance, characterize sensor errors, and improve systems using test and analysis results.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of navigation algorithm development, analysis, and validation for aerospace or high-performance dynamic systems.
  • Strong background in estimation theory, including EKF and multi-sensor fusion; experience with INS and external aiding sources.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent; experience with 3DOF and 6DOF simulations and real-time implementation.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with alternative-navigation techniques for GPS-denied environments.
  • Familiarity with flight software integration and real-time embedded systems.
