About the job
Develops and maintains data pipelines and processing systems that support analytics and business intelligence for federal customers.
What you'll do
- Build and support data pipelines, including data ingestion, storage, management, and delivery to consumers.
- Write and validate code for reliable data extraction and processing, and support automation of data ingestion.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams and program stakeholders to implement, document, and meet evolving requirements.

- 7+ years of IT experience, including designing, managing, and solutioning large, complex data sets and models.
- Experience developing pipelines for structured and unstructured data; proficiency in ETL, testing and validation, and data manipulation using Python, R, SQL, or SAS.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, version control such as Git Repositories, and applying Agile and CI/CD principles.
Nice to have
- Experience creating and consuming APIs; DHS experience or knowledge of DHS standards.
- Visualization experience with Tableau or PowerBI; Linux Shell scripting; extensive Python experience is given special consideration.
