Develops and supports data pipelines and analytics infrastructure that help federal customers turn data into actionable insights.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain data pipelines, including data extraction, processing, ingestion, and provisioning for consumers.
- Improve pipeline performance and reliability, automate data ingestion, and apply engineering practices such as continuous integration, version control, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams, program management, and cross-functional partners to implement and document requirements.

- 7+ years of IT experience, including designing, managing, and solutioning large, complex data sets and models.
- Experience developing data pipelines from multiple sources and structured and unstructured data; proficiency with ETL, testing, and validation.
- Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, or SAS; knowledge of big data tools, Agile principles, CI/CD, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and Git Repositories.
Nice to have
- Experience creating and consuming APIs; DHS experience or knowledge of DHS standards.
- Tableau or PowerBI visualization, Linux Shell scripting, extensive Python experience, or experience translating requirements into data strategies and analytic solutions.
Pay
USD 112,597.33–152,810.66 per-year base salary
