About the job
Processes FOIA requests for a large federal agency, including correspondence, negotiations, records review, and release determinations.
What you'll do
- Receive, review, analyze, and track incoming and backlogged FOIA requests.
- Draft FOIA correspondence and coordinate with requesters and other parties on requested records and potential releases.
- Coordinate record searches, review documents for responsiveness, identify duplicates, and ensure released materials omit exempt information.
