Processes FOIA requests for a large federal agency, including reviewing records, coordinating searches, making release determinations, and preparing correspondence.
What you'll do
- Receive, analyze, and track new and backlogged FOIA requests.
- Draft FOIA correspondence and negotiate with requesters and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate document searches, review records for responsiveness, and ensure released materials exclude exempt information.
