About the job
Manages full-lifecycle security assessment and authorization for Department of Commerce systems, supporting RMF compliance and authorization to operate.
What you'll do
- Review systems for security weaknesses, assess organizational risks, and recommend mitigations and improvements.
- Develop and finalize security documentation, risk assessments, A&A materials, and security test and evaluation reports.
- Support RMF authorization activities, vulnerability scanning, patch management, and configuration changes with government security stakeholders.
What they ask for
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least five years of experience as an IA Analyst, ISSE, ISSO, or similar role, including ATO package development and security documentation.
- eMASS experience.
- Professional security certification such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or higher.
Nice to have
- CISSP, CASP, or similar certificate.
- Master's Degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
