About the job
Manages cybersecurity assessment and authorization activities for Department of Commerce systems, supporting ATOs through the RMF lifecycle and providing security risk and compliance guidance.
What you'll do
- Conduct security assessments and oversee information-system security in accordance with NIST 800.53 and RMF requirements.
- Develop and maintain ATO documentation, risk assessments, risk registries, and recommendations for mitigating security findings.
- Support vulnerability scanning, patch management, configuration management, and the transition from DIACAP to DoC RMF.

- At least five years of experience in an IA Analyst, ISSE, ISSO, or similar role, including ATO package development and security documentation.
- eMASS experience.
- Professional security certification such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or higher.
Nice to have
- CISSP, CASP, or similar certificate.
- Master's Degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
