About the job
Supports Department of Commerce systems’ security authorization by managing the full RMF assessment and authorization lifecycle, documenting security assessments, and advising on cybersecurity risks and controls.
What you'll do
- Conduct security assessments, oversee system security, and support ATO activities across the RMF process.
- Identify and prioritize risks, maintain risk registries, and develop risk assessment reports and mitigation recommendations.
- Review security documentation and advise on configuration management, vulnerability scanning, patching, and compliance.

- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least five (5) years of experience as an IA Analyst, ISSE, ISSO, or similar role developing ATO packages and security documentation.
- eMASS experience.
- Professional security certification such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or higher.
