About the job
Manages full-lifecycle security assessment and authorization activities for Department of Commerce systems, supporting RMF compliance and Authorization to Operate (ATO).
What you'll do
- Assess systems, identify vulnerabilities and organizational risks, and recommend and document remediation.
- Manage A&A documentation and security assessments through the RMF process, including transition from DIACAP to DoC RMF.
- Provide security guidance, configuration-management recommendations, and support for vulnerability scanning, patching, and risk mitigation.

- At least five years of experience in an IA Analyst, ISSE, ISSO, or similar role, including ATO package development and security documentation.
- eMASS experience.
- Professional security certification such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or higher.

- CISSP, CASP, or similar certificate.
