About the job
Manages full life-cycle security assessment and authorization for Department of Commerce systems, supporting RMF compliance and Authorization to Operate decisions.
What you'll do
- Conduct security assessments and oversee system security in accordance with NIST 800.53 and RMF requirements.
- Develop and maintain authorization documentation, risk assessments, and risk registries; advise on mitigation strategies.
- Support vulnerability scanning, patch management, and configuration changes in coordination with security stakeholders.

- At least five years of experience in an IA Analyst, ISSE, ISSO, or similar role involving ATO package development and security documentation.
- eMASS experience.
