About the job
Manage full-lifecycle security assessment and authorization for Department of Commerce systems, supporting RMF compliance and efforts to obtain Authorization to Operate.
What you'll do
- Review systems for security weaknesses, manage organizational risks, and maintain risk registries.
- Develop and finalize security documentation, assessments, and risk reports; advise on mitigation strategies.
- Support configuration, vulnerability scanning, patch management, and the transition from DIACAP to DoC RMF.
What they ask for
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least five years of experience in an IA Analyst, ISSE, ISSO, or similar role developing ATO packages and security documentation.
- eMASS experience.
- A professional security certification such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or higher.

- CISSP, CASP, or similar certificate.
