About the job
Develop and administer PostgreSQL databases while supporting migration from Oracle to Microsoft Azure PostgreSQL for a federal data analytics and business intelligence platform.
What you'll do
- Lead Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration and manage database environments, including monitoring, maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
- Maintain database availability, performance, resilience, security, backups, and disaster recovery; assist developers with performance tuning.
- Create technical documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to translate objectives into technical requirements.
