About the job
Develop and administer PostgreSQL databases while supporting an Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration for a federal data analytics and business intelligence platform.
What you'll do
- Migrate Oracle schemas, packages, views, and triggers to PostgreSQL and manage PostgreSQL environments.
- Monitor database availability, security, performance, resilience, backups, disaster recovery, patching, and upgrades.
- Document technical solutions and collaborate with stakeholders and developers on requirements and performance tuning.
