About the job
Supports district legal staff by analyzing healthcare claims and financial records, conducting forensic investigations, and preparing financial evidence for investigations, litigation, settlements, and recovery.
What you'll do
- Analyze financial records, healthcare claims, assets, and transactions to trace funds and quantify damages.
- Develop financial models, assess ability to pay, reconstruct records, and report findings to attorneys and investigators.
- Prepare expert reports, review defense materials, and participate in negotiations or testimony as required.
What they ask for
- At least 5 years of experience in forensic financial accounting, litigation consulting, and/or health care fraud analysis.
- Resume must demonstrate understanding of rules of evidence and civil procedures, evidence admissibility, elements of violations under investigation, and applicable policies supporting criminal and civil investigations.
