Develop, integrate, and validate missile and flight-vehicle simulations to support system design, guidance and control integration, testing, and performance analysis.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain 3-DOF and 6-DOF flight and engagement simulations, including relevant vehicle, sensor, environment, and subsystem models.
- Integrate guidance, navigation, control, and flight software in closed-loop simulation and test environments; analyze performance and uncertainty.
- Support verification and testing through preflight predictions, telemetry and test-data analysis, postflight reconstruction, model validation, and documentation.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
- Relevant experience in missile or flight-vehicle modeling and simulation, flight dynamics, GNC, trajectory analysis, weapon-system performance, or a closely related field; hands-on experience developing, integrating, or using 3-DOF or 6-DOF simulations.
- Strong fundamentals in flight mechanics, rigid-body dynamics, coordinate systems and transformations, numerical integration, control or estimation, and dynamic-system analysis; depth in at least one relevant missile modeling area.
- Strong programming ability in MATLAB, Python, or C++; active Secret clearance.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience with guided flight systems, GNC, trajectory analysis, simulation testing, flight-test support, or defense programs; active or eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
Pay
$140,000 - $190,000 (base salary)
