About the job
Leads the technical development of defense hardware systems from mission definition and architecture through production, qualification, and field deployment.
What you'll do
- Guide cross-functional hardware development and personally execute critical engineering work from concept through production.
- Define system architectures, allocate requirements and functionality, coordinate interfaces, and lead trade studies and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and test teams to mature designs and support technical reviews, proposals, and demonstrations.

- Background in space systems, missile systems, avionics, radar, EW, or defense electronics.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, interface definition, engineering tradeoffs, and requirements allocation.
