About the job
Acquires and develops private equity sponsor relationships, generating leveraged finance business and coordinating credit and client-service activities across CIBC.
What you'll do
- Identify and screen prospective sponsors, conduct ongoing diligence, and build sponsor relationships to generate new business.
- Support opportunity screening, deal structuring and negotiation, credit events, and portfolio reviews with internal banking teams.
- Track relationship pipelines and strengthen CIBC’s presence among sponsors and industry associations.
