What you'll do

  • Own mixed-signal transmit/receive datapath and control circuit design, optimizing power, performance, testability, and cost.
  • Lead full-chip electrical specifications, verification planning, and cross-functional integration.
  • Debug silicon and system issues during validation and bring-up, improve yield, and mentor engineering teams.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s + 12 years of related experience, or Master’s + 8 years of related experience, or PhD + 5 years of high-speed AMS design experience.
  • Expertise in high-speed optical transceiver design and proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Caliber, SystemVerilog, and Verilog-AMS.
  • Ability to lead design teams through a full tapeout cycle and deliver successful silicon products.
  • Proficiency in Python or C for design automation, scripting, and analytical tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience with silicon photonics driver ICs and direct-detect optical module architectures.
  • Experience with analog/mixed-signal circuit design, optical subsystems, high-speed PHYs, DFT, lab instrumentation, and optical component modeling.
