About the job

Designs, validates, and releases complex high-speed networking hardware boards, owning subsystems or products from hardware definition through manufacturing release.

What you'll do

  • Translate system requirements into board architecture, schematics, constraints, and verification plans; design digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Define high-speed routing and power-delivery strategies; lead board bring-up, validation, and debug, resolving signal, power, thermal, EMI/EMC, and manufacturing risks.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers, lead design reviews, and drive qualification, documentation, and product release.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 7 years of related experience; or Master’s degree plus 4 years; or Ph.D. plus 1 year; or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience taking complex hardware products through manufacturing release.
  • Experience with board-level design, schematic capture, laboratory bring-up, validation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity fundamentals, including controlled impedance, crosstalk, termination, and decoupling.

Nice to have

  • Experience with networking, server, computer, or high-performance embedded systems and interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, DDR4/DDR5, SerDes, MDIO, SPI, or I2C.
  • Experience with Cadence Concept/Design Entry, Allegro, or comparable EDA tools; SI/PI or electromagnetic simulation tools; or power, thermal, and EMI/EMC design.
