Technical Leader, SIte Reliability Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead Kubernetes platform design, implementation, and optimization across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Drive reliability and developer-productivity initiatives using Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps; partner with engineering, security, and product teams on platform roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents, architecture reviews, and platform transformations, and mentor engineers.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production, including leading cross-organizational platform initiatives.
• 7+ years operating production Kubernetes platforms and cloud-native infrastructure, including multi-cluster environments; expertise across AWS, Azure, GCP, on-prem or hybrid clouds.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking architectures, CNI and service mesh; Terraform and ArgoCD; and SRE practices including SLOs/SLIs, incident management, production readiness reviews, and automated remediation.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating monolithic applications to microservices; foundational networking knowledge such as switching, routing, Wi-Fi, or IoT.
• Advanced observability knowledge and experience reducing toil through automation and self-service developer platforms.

Pay

$214,100.00 to $309,800.00 USD (salary range; not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits); $214,100.00 - $356,300.00 USD (full salary range); $192,400.00 - $317,200.00 USD (full salary range)
