UI Desktop macOS and IOS Engineer Hybird

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain the desktop app, including OS integrations, secure IPC, installers, code signing, and auto-updates.
• Build accessible AI interfaces from Figma designs and integrate them with REST APIs and Node.js services.
• Optimize desktop performance and local state, deploy supporting services on Google Cloud Platform, and collaborate with design and engineering teams.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years, Master’s degree with 4+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of experience in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js, including component-based UIs and formal design systems.
• Experience shipping secure macOS and Windows desktop applications using Electron or Tauri, including application lifecycles, IPC, and security.
• Experience with cross-platform packaging, code signing, auto-updates, Google Cloud Platform, Git, Agile, and accessibility standards for dynamic UIs.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI applications with LLM/chatbot/agent interfaces, streaming responses, and WebSockets.
• Experience with native modules, performance profiling, multi-platform CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Docker, local storage, or desktop accessibility APIs.

Pay

$115,800.00 to $163,200.00 (base salary); $138,100.00 - $226,000.00 (base salary, New York City Metro Area); $124,000.00 - $201,000.00 (base salary, non-Metro New York state & Washington state)
