Own and scale Clarify’s data platform, ingestion, eventing, integrations, and APIs, ensuring reliable customer data and production operations.
What you'll do
- Set architecture and technical direction for the data platform, canonical data model, and integration framework.
- Build reliable, high-volume data pipelines and real-time eventing; address rate limits, backfills, ordering, idempotency, conflicts, and deduplication.
- Shape public APIs and webhooks, improve observability, and support engineering quality through reviews and mentoring.
What they ask for
- Have operated at Staff level or above, owning a data or platform system’s architecture end-to-end.
- Have built and run production data platforms, ingestion pipelines, or event-driven systems at scale.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills; deep Postgres experience; experience with queues and event streams such as BullMQ or Kafka.
- Have designed resilient APIs and pipelines, operated third-party integrations, and owned production systems including on-call.
Nice to have
- Experience at a data or integration platform such as Segment, Fivetran, Hightouch, Census, Merge, or Paragon.
- Experience designing public developer APIs, or with entity resolution or data quality.

$185,000-$230,000 USD base salary
