About the job
Optimizes the performance and reliability of ClickHouse’s core database and supports its open-source community and customers.
What you'll do
- Analyze and optimize database performance, including query planning, distributed queries, relational operators, caching, and low-level optimizations.
- Build and maintain performance tests using real-world or synthetic datasets; assess how new features affect performance and reliability.
- Debug advanced customer performance issues, participate in on-call and community support, and contribute to open-source discussions and code reviews.
