About the job
Improves the security of ClickHouse products and services by partnering with engineering and product teams, finding vulnerabilities, and scaling security assurance and incident response.
What you'll do
- Perform threat modeling and security assurance, and advise on or help implement secure product features.
- Find and triage vulnerabilities across ClickHouse Cloud and OSS; improve pentesting, vulnerability assessment, bug bounty, and fuzzing activities.
- Implement security tools and automation, improve engineering-security processes, and handle security events and incidents.
What they ask for
- Experience supporting engineering and product work through threat assessments, assurance, advisory, and sometimes implementation across distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge and experience with one or more cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and with Kubernetes, Cilium, or Crossplane.
- Experience implementing and operating engineering security tools and processes, including code analysis, software composition analysis, SBOM, OWASP SAMM, or fuzzing tools.
- Significant development and automation experience; a security-as-code mindset.
Nice to have
- Ability to work with C++ code.
