Manager, Machine Learning Engineer (US)

What you'll do

• Lead six ML engineers and guide the design and delivery of agentic systems, including retrieval, tool use, orchestration, and evaluation.
• Evaluate ML and LLM products and collaborate with product, MLOps, operations, and data science teams on customer-facing ML features.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and work across teams to diagnose and solve technical problems.

• Hands-on familiarity building agentic systems, including tool-calling agents, RAG pipelines, prompt and context design, and evaluating agent behavior at scale.
• Demonstrated success mentoring software developers, particularly in Agile processes and large-scale SaaS products.

Nice to have

• Experience fine-tuning foundational models and/or training language models in-house.
• Experience manipulating, cleaning, and preprocessing complex unstructured data for model development.

Pay

$218,600 to $327,800 USD (base salary)
