Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

What you'll do

• Lead customer architecture, solution design, migration configuration, and technical issue resolution.
• Manage Terraform-based infrastructure configurations and coordinate customer needs with internal product, support, and engineering teams.
• Advise customers on Application Security, Network Security, SASE, and AI-focused initiatives after migration.

What they ask for

• 10+ years of technical customer-facing experience, with a record leading complex enterprise projects in cloud networks, web infrastructure, or security.
• Extensive knowledge of Application Security, Workers and Workers AI, cybersecurity, web performance, and cloud infrastructure.
• Extensive experience implementing and supporting complex solutions using Terraform.
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM concepts, networking protocols, cybersecurity, and standards such as Zero Trust/SASE; exceptional customer relationship and Slack-first communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience or strong interest in transitioning application-heavy environments toward Network Security and SASE.
• Proficiency in coding languages beyond Terraform; experience managing or advising on project-based fund pools.

$184,000 - $253,000 USD annual salary (base salary) for New York City, New Jersey based hires
