About the job
Defines the architecture and technical direction of Coalition’s enterprise data platform, building reliable data infrastructure and products for analytics, insurance, cybersecurity, and AI/ML applications.
What you'll do
- Set architecture and engineering standards across the data platform and design governed pipelines and domain-oriented data models.
- Build reusable data products, contracts, feature stores, and semantic models; establish data reliability, governance, security, and incident-management practices.
- Develop platform foundations for AI applications and partner across teams to align architecture with business outcomes.
What they ask for
- 9–12 years building and operating production data platforms, including architecture ownership for complex or high-scale systems.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake and dbt; strong Python, analytical SQL, and data-modeling skills.
- Experience building reliable batch and streaming pipelines and establishing data products, contracts, ownership, SLAs, access controls, lineage, and quality standards.
- Experience with feature engineering or AI data systems, plus production experience with Looker and LookML.
Nice to have
- Insurance-domain modeling experience.

$157,000/year–$232,650/year USD base salary
