Staff Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead platform architecture, system design, and technical standards while mentoring engineers.
• Design data and retrieval systems that provide AI agents context from diverse healthcare sources.
• Contribute production code and lead deployment, operational readiness, security, and cross-functional delivery.

What they ask for

• 12+ years in the software development lifecycle, progressing to complex, high-impact cloud-native system design.
• Expertise in auth/authz frameworks, secure API design, access control, and automated testing.
• Strong system design, observability, production operations, and fullstack expertise in modern languages, event-driven systems, and CI/CD.
• Experience designing data systems or pipelines for analytical and AI workloads, with strong data modeling fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as code (IaC); AI architectures such as multi-agent, RAG, and evaluation frameworks.
• Healthcare tech, health plan, or Payment Integrity experience; healthcare interoperability standards and clinical ontologies.

Pay

$185,000 to $225,000 annually (USD, base salary)
